Pointing Pairs Technique
What are Pointing Pairs?
Pointing pairs occur when a number can only appear in one row or column within a 3×3 box. This "points" to that row or column outside the box, allowing you to eliminate that number from other cells in that row or column outside the box.
This technique is similar to box-line reduction but works in reverse. It's particularly useful in medium to hard puzzles where you need to eliminate possibilities systematically.
